Our mission.
At SpixArt, a proud initiative of the Spix Foundation, we celebrate and support young artists by providing opportunities to reflect, create, and showcase their work. Through our art contests, exhibitions, and collaborative events, we connect students across creative disciplines, encouraging them to explore new ideas and express the deeper meaning behind their work. By fostering hands-on learning and creative thinking, we hope to empower the next generation to turn their artistic passion into lifelong pursuits.

One World, Many Stories:
Exploring Global Cultures
Submission Dates: October 15-December 15
This year, SpixArt invites students to explore the richness of world cultures through art. From family traditions and celebrations to language, clothing, food, and music—
What makes a culture unique? What connects us all?
Artists are encouraged to reflect on how people around the world express identity, heritage, and community. Whether drawing from personal experience or a culture that inspires curiosity, students can create a piece that celebrates the diversity of the human experience—and shows how learning about each other brings us closer together.
We encourage students to delve into this global narrative, considering:
-
How language, geography, music, food, architecture, clothing, or traditions shape culture
-
What it means to belong to a culture—or to more than one
-
How cultural exchange and migration influence artistic expression
-
The symbols, colors, and patterns, and art styles that carry meaning across cultures
-
How art can be a bridge between communities
-
What global culture means in our interconnected world
-
How your own identity or heritage inspires your creativity
-
What cultures fascinate you, and what you’d like to learn more about
