Jim Plamondon was a recognized expert in the theory, strategy, and tactics of Platform Evangelism (PE) at Microsoft in the 1990s, which invented PE and used it to build Microsoft into the world's most valuable company. This unique knowledge disseminated across Silicon Valley, enabling the rapid growth of multi-billion-dollar companies from AirBnB to Zillow. In late 2023, Jim was invited to become the CEO of the not-for-profit Spix Foundation, where he is leading the PE of RESPECT™ a free and open source Digital Public Infrastructure for Education. Just as Wikipedia grew from nothing to be worth billions today (https://is.gd/48vlSb), the same with RESPECT. Just as all of Wikipedia’s value goes to its users, the same with RESPECT.
