Ninon Nelson serves as Executive Director of the Spix Foundation, leading the organization's mission to strengthen education systems across Africa and beyond through the RESPECT initiative.

​Drawing on her experience in the EdTech sector, including her work with the mEducation Alliance, Ninon works at the intersection of policy, philanthropy, and practice, building partnerships with multilateral organizations, philanthropic foundations, and private sector actors to advance inclusive, innovative, and scalable solutions for learners. She brings together communications, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the Foundation's work stays grounded in regional priorities and the communities it serves.

Under her leadership, the Spix Foundation continues to grow as a collaborative and trusted partner in shaping Digital Public Infrastructure for Education across the African continent.
